I personally choose every member of the Decorare team. I need you to trust my people and that means I need to know what makes them tick.
I value time-served experience alongside formally qualified decorators. The skills and commitment of the people, are ultimately what I look for. We also take apprentices and sponsor them through college to attain their formal qualifications. We are members of the Construction Industry Training Board and the Oxfordshire Construction Training Group who assist us in delivering our annual training plans.
Once we have chosen a new member we ensure that they are properly trained in all aspects of their responsibilities. Each employee carries a DBS check and has passed the fundamental tests in how to create a safe working environment for themselves, other site workers and you the customer. I want you to feel that whilst my team are at your property they are approachable and act in a thoroughly safe and professional manner.
Decorare’s Director, Tim, started this company on his own 18 years ago. Since then he’s seen it go from strength to strength and is very proud of the team he has.
As Operations Manager, Ryan enjoys time on and off the brushes. Having learnt the Decorare way from apprentice, he knows the importance of liaising with customers whilst providing a quality finish on every job he does.
Decorare’s longest serving employee, Antoine is a real credit to the company’s reputation. At Decorare we’re always expanding our staff’s knowledge and Antoine is currently studying Level 1 and 2 carpentry.
Vicky was our first female employee who has further encouraged and mentored other members of staff with her enthusiasm and diligence, which shows in the finish of her work.
Katt has a keen eye for detail, enjoys wallpapering and can always be relied upon to provide the top quality finish for which Decorare is so well known.
Now a qualified decorator, Kate joined us in 2017 for the last year of her NVQ apprenticeship. She’s impressed the team and customers alike with her top quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Since joining us in the Autumn of 2017, Michael’s become a valued member of the team. Our customers have grown to love Michael and appreciate his hard work.
With 17 years of decorating experience, we were delighted when Bradley decided to join us. The quality of his work speaks for itself and the customers are quick to agree!
Justin joined us for the Summer of 2018 and we were so impressed we asked him to stay on as a permanent employee. The customer feedback has assured us it was a great decision!
Karyn is Director of HR and Health & Safety and has worked alongside Tim to build the business
